Brenda Ellcessor who played harp during the festival last year returns to delight young and old with her whimsical renditions of classic holiday favorites. Brenda has played at various venues throughout Ohio with her harp, and we are glad again to feature her enchanting music at the festival.
The harp has a rich fascinating history playing christmas music spanning over 9 centuries. From the 12th Century until today, the harp as an instrument brings together courtly and popular words and music to contemplate and praise the holiday season. Harpists over the centuries have interpreted carols, old and new in various arrangements from Kings to the present day where this instrument commonly brings an angelic tone to gleeful audience ears.
We are proud to feature Brenda's talents for the festival, and hope that those who attend will appreciate the best of the season's holiday favorites for all to share.
